What’s (Sacred) S3xuality got to do with Self-Worth?

Over the past few weeks I’ve been on a wild, expansive journey across three countries and 1000s of kms — teaching at two mystery school Tantra trainings and the Portugal Tantra festival

It’s been a potent time of deep learning and transformation, as I’ve stepped into more in-person facilitation work.

You can view a summary of photos here :)

There’s one profound takeaway I want to share with you from this time.

But first, you may be wondering — what does sacred sexuality have to do with self-worth, my core work?

Sacred Sexuality + Self-Worth

My deep dive into sacred sexuality began seven years ago, and alongside deep healing and embodiment work, it’s played a key role in my self-worth and empowerment journey, and I believe it has the power to for many here’s why:

🫂 Connection
Sacred sexuality is predominantly about intimacy and connection — first to self, then to others. As I outline in my eBook 6 Steps to Heal the Worthiness Wound, knowing yourself deeply and forming connections that reflect your worth are core to reclaiming your value, so these practices around connection and intimacy are profound pieces of the self-worth puzzle.

💞 No parts left out
Self-worth is about loving and integrating the whole of yourself. This includes your less desirable parts, your wounds, your inner child, and also your sexuality, your naked body, your primal truth, your anger and your true (maybe taboo) desires — the parts society, religion and most spiritual paths teach us to hide.

Sacred Sexuality invites us to include and explore ALL of the self – and this goes hand in hand with radical self-love and acceptance.

👁 Being fully seen
One of the biggest shifts in my self-worth came the first time I allowed myself to be truly seen, without performance and masks. From being naked in group spaces, to sharing openly about fears and vulnerabilities, to speaking what was true for me with courage. This is the invitation I bring into all of my spaces — to be witnessed, loved, and received exactly as you are. And it is something I first experienced most deeply in sacred sexuality spaces.

👫 Masculine & Feminine
While I often work in women-only spaces, something profound happens when men and women come together with presence and vulnerability.

For many women, the deepest healing comes from being seen and accepted by the masculine. And for many men, the inverse is true.

Many of our deepest wounds are rooted in the 'other' — the father wound, the mother wound, relational hurt and betrayal.

Evolution and our natural desire for union, mean how we are received and perceived by the opposite sex often impacts us the most.

And this was my biggest takeaway from these past weeks of teaching in transformational spaces:

That some of the most profound healing can happen when men and women come together — for greater understanding, connection and to act as allies in each others’ journeys.

And with this alive in me and the field, I’d like to invite you to two very special events in July that bring this work to life:

Relating to Men & The Masculine
An Online Women's Circle
Tuesday 9th July 2025
Live on Zoom

An online circle to explore our relationship with men and the masculine — including any pain, patterns, or stories that are holding us back from the reality we desire.

To include a sacred sharing circle, views from men, as well as a ritual to invoke reflection, gratitude and forgiveness.

🌹Worthy Man, Worthy Woman
A ritual-based workshop for men & women
Thursday 17th July
In person, Barcelona

A unique in-person ritual based workshop for men and women, to create deeper intimacy, connection and healing between the masculine and feminine.

With much love,

Monika
